iPod Classic meets its end
Kristie Lu Stout says goodbye to the gadget that sparked Apple's "iCraze".
Once upon a time, Apple was just a computer company. And then came this, the ipod, the example for the world’s consumers of electronic and sent it on the path becoming the world most valuable company. It’s all started with Steve Jobs’ compassion for music. And the decoration and digital players, I quote, “truly suck” through remembering the music players look like before iPod. The creative noman with the size of junky CD player with the tiny screen. So Jobs persuade his team to come up their own device but it was not until 2001 when Toshiba told their executive John Robinstain that they have new tiny hard drive but Toshiba had no idea what to do with it. And John Robinstain said the tiny hard drive is perfect for Apple music player. And just a month later, Jobs idea their iPod.
There is right there. So this mazing little device holds a thousand songs, just right in my pocket.
But iPod was not a immediate heat. Now take site of slash., famously dismiss the device in this weathering summary, I quote “No wireless. Less space than a nomad. Lame.” But iPod sales slowly grow because of its new size and shapes, and iPod sales grew. So it’s Apple’s ambition. And you know the expressed story. iPod will live on in the form of dinano, shaffle and touch. But it is end of the role of classic design. 13 years on, the world need to move on from the original iPod, but it’s impact lingers on.
