Logan E. The role of art is to inspire and to be creative, it's also the backbone of society. It is responsible for creating progress of a whole group or nation by explaining and inspiring with new ideas. Propaganda is possibly the best persuasive form of art to contain a group from outside ideas. Propaganda was used in the world wars to bring an idea to the nation's people that the other countries were evil. This idea led to the total war effort and with ensuing progress won the war. This tactic is still used today, and what is modern day propaganda but advertising. Advertising is just new ideas to sell and persuade you to buy a certain product. A company s yearly progressive income relies on how well they can sell you their ideas.
