风起的时候
廊下铃铛响着
小黄鹂鸟低飞帘起
你依着栏杆，不再看花，不再看桥
看那西天薄暮的云彩

风起的时候，我将记取
风起的时候，我凝视你草帽下美丽的惊惧
你肩上停着夕照
风沙咬啮我南方人的双唇

你在我波浪的胸怀
我们并立，看暮色自
彼此的肩膀轻轻地落下

Wind rise
Eave hells ring
Orioles dart
Curtains are raised
On the balustrade you gaze no more at flowers or bridge
But clouds in misty twilight

At wind rise, I shall remember
At wind rise, I contemplate the beautiful fear
beneath your straw hat
Wind and dust gnaw my southerner's lips

You inhabit my wavelike breast
Side by side we stand and watch the
Dusk cascade from our shoulders
