晚上好！很荣幸能邀请到吉拉尼总理出席今天的活动。首先，我谨向总理阁下和各位来宾致以亲切的问候。
Asslam-o-Alikum! It is our great honor to have His Honourable Prime Minister of Pakistan to be with us here today. First let me extend sincere greetings to His Hon. PM and all the guests here at Friendship Centre.

这些天是十分特殊的日子。不到两周，我们就将迎来中巴建交60周年。吉拉尼总理阁下不久将正式访华，同中国领导人和中国人民共同欢庆富有重要意义的建交日。在此，我衷心祝愿总理阁下访华取得圆满成功。
These days are special because in less than two weeks we will ring in the 60th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. His Hon. PM will soon pay an official visit to China to celebrate this significant day with the Chinese leaders and people. Here I wish His Hon. PM's visit to China a full success.

中国和巴基斯坦是好邻居、好朋友、好伙伴、好兄弟。两国友谊源远流长，深入人心。建交60年来，在两国历代领导人和各界有识之士的精心培育下，在两国政府和人民的共同努力下，中巴建立了高质量的战略合作伙伴关系，双方在各领域、各层次的友好交流合作卓有成效，共同为维护本地区及世界的和平、稳定做出了积极贡献。我们为有巴基斯坦这样伟大而真诚的朋友深感自豪。中国政府和人民十分珍视中巴友谊，无论国际和地区形势如何变化，中巴友好都不会动摇。我们相信，在未来的60年里，在双方共同努力下，中巴友谊将不断焕发新的生机与活力。
China and Pakistan are good neighbours, good friends, good partners and good brothers. The friendship between our two countries has a long history. Over the past 60 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, thanks to the care and support from successive leaders and men of insight on both sides and the joint efforts of the governments and peoples of our two countries, we have established a high-quality strategic partnership of cooperation and carried out productive exchanges and cooperation in various fields and at different levels, making joint contribution to peace and stability in the region and beyond. We are proud of having such a great and sincere friend as Pakistan. The Chinese government and people deeply cherish the friendship between us. No matter how the international and regional situation might evolve, such a friendship will not change. I'm confident that, with the joint efforts of both sides, China-Pak friendship will continue to display new vigor and dynamism in the coming 60 years.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

过去60年里，勤劳、勇敢、智慧的巴基斯坦人民团结奋斗，自强不息，不断探索符合自身国情的发展道路，在建设国家的事业中取得了显著成就，在国际反恐事业中做出了重要贡献，赢得了并应得到国际社会普遍赞誉和尊重。在此，我衷心祝愿巴基斯坦政府和人民在各项事业中取得更大的成就。
Over the past 60 years, the people of Pakistan, with their wisdom, courage and diligence, have made hard and unremitting efforts in exploring a development path that suits their own national conditions, achieved notable success in the course of national development and made important contributions in the international counter-terrorism campaign, all of which have won it and should win it wide recognition and respect of the international community. Here, I sincerely wish the government and people of Pakistan even greater success in future endeavors.

女士们，先生们，
Ladies and Gentlemen,

中巴战略关系的建立及不断发展绝非偶然。两国间独一无二的友谊，归功于两国历代领导人的远见卓识，得益于两国人民的辛勤培育。正如温家宝总理去年12月访巴期间所说，中巴友好深深扎根在两国人民心中，融入了我们的血脉，成为一种崇高而坚定的信念，已转化为实实在在的行动。
China-Pakistan strategic relationship is no accident. We owe the secret of our unique friendship to the vision of generations of leaders of the two countries and the hard work of the two peoples.As Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao put it during his visit here last December, the friendship between China and Pakistan is deeply rooted in the hearts of the two peoples. It is in our blood, and has become our noble and firm conviction. And it has been translated into real action.

我愿借此机会，特别感谢吉拉尼总理及其领导的巴政府为中巴友谊与合作付出的大量心血和所作出的重要贡献。我也要对所有长期以来致力于中巴友好的巴各界朋友致以最衷心的谢意！
Here I wish to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to His Hon. Prime Minister Gilani's and Pakistan government's untiring efforts and important contributions to the development of our friendship and cooperative relations. Our special thanks also go to all those who have been engaged in Sino-Pak friendship.

今年是中巴友好年，双方正举行一系列活动庆祝两国业已存在的深厚友谊。我们今天在这里举办的活动就是其中的重要组成部分。相信通过这些活动，中巴传统友谊将焕发新活力，两国战略伙伴关系和全方位合作将迈上新台阶。
2011 is the "Year of China-Pakistan Friendship". Accordingly, our two sides are holding a series of activities, including today's event, to celebrate our friendship. These celebrations will undoubtedly inject new vigor and vitality to our traditional friendship, and further enhance our strategic partnership and all-dimensional cooperation.

Ladies and gentlemen,

我们很高兴来自中国新疆的代表团也参加了我们今晚的活动。他们承担着推介中国—亚欧博览会的重任。中国—亚欧博览会是乌洽会的继承和升格，将成为中国新疆地区同亚欧地区国家开展全方位、多层次合作的重要平台。有关筹备工作正全力展开。中国政府和人民热烈欢迎巴领导人和各界人士赴新疆参会，进一步推动中巴跨境贸易合作向前发展。
We are very happy today to have an delegation from Xin Jiang, with the task of promoting China-Eurasia Expo, here with us. The preparation work of China-Eurasia Expo is in full swing. This Expo will serve as an important platform of all-dimensional and multi-level cooperation between Xin Jiang, China and other Eurasia countries.The government and people of China warmly welcome Pakistani leadership and people from all walk of life to participate in this event, which I believe will boost economic cooperation between our two countries.

今晚是一个喜悦欢庆的日子。来自新疆的艺术家将为我们献上一席华丽的艺术盛宴，让我们一道尽情欣赏艺术家们精彩的演出。
Tonight is ours. Beaming with joy, the artists of Xin Jiang will present us a wonderful performance. I hope everybody will enjoy it.
