10 Simple Tips to be Happy
Are you happy? Do you know the fact that happiness is determined by our minds more than by our circumstances? The following are a few tips that I follow to create happiness in my life.
Tip 1: Set effective plan to get happiness. Just like in any other realm of life, pursuing happiness requires reasonable planning.
Tip 2: Make happiness a priority. If happiness is at the bottom of your list, then other things will interfere with your efforts to feel good.
Tip 3：Do things from which you'll gain pleasure and enjoyment, and don't forget to make sure your goals are AMART (specific, measurable, accomplishable, relevant and timed).
Tip 4: Set yourself tasks from which you'll gain a sense of satisfaction. Because satisfaction is a supreme part of happiness, you should do the things which might not be fun, but from which you'll gain achievement.
Tip 5: Identify where your strengths lie and focus on the maximum utilization of your strength (including all your positive qualities and attributes). Know what your faults and weaknesses are to avoid problems.
Tip 6: Be grateful and appreciate what you possess. There's no doubt that gratitude and appreciation will significantly increase your chances of tasting happiness.
Tip 7: Play and have fun. Don't take life too seriously. Although we all have responsibilities, that is not the reason for us not to approach our lives in a playful manner.
Tip 8: Invest time and energy into your key relationships. Happy people tend to be more supportive to other people.
Tip 9: Weed out unhelpful thoughts, the central method for attaining a happier life is to train your mood in a constant practice that weakens negative attitudes and strengthens positive, optimistic ones – this is an essential skill.
Tip 10: Live a healthy life. Eat more vegetarian food and wholesome food. Exercise regularly. Ensure you gain adequate sleep and rest. It's difficult to be happy if you're frequently tired, diseased and struggling to find enough energy to get through the day.
