Stated simply, such a concept holds that the function of education, the goal of education〞 the human goal, the humanistic goal.

简单地说 这一概念认为教育的功能 教育的目标 人的目标 人性的目标

The goal so far as human beings are concerned〞 is ultimately the "self-actualization" of a person, the becoming fully human.

只要人还是被关注的目标 从根本上是一个人的自我实现 完全成为一个人

The development of the fullest height that the human species can stand up to or that the particular individual can come to. In a less technical way.

达到人类或者是特定的某个个人 能达到的最高高度 通俗点讲

It is helping the person to become the best that he is able to become." And this was before the Ad came up for the army. That "Be all you can be."

就是帮助一个人成为最好的自己" 这些是军队的广告 "做最好的自己"

This is what the class is about. It's the humanistic approach. It's about fulfilling our potential.

这就是本课程所要讲的 这就是人性的方法 关于实现我们的潜能

Chipping away those limitations. Now to many of you this may sound naive, idealistic. Naive it is not. Idealistic, it is.
