The World Bank has lowered its 2015 growth forecasts for the developing East Asia and Pacific region to 6.7 percent.

The previous estimate was 6.9 percent.

It warned of significant risks from the potential impact from a rising dollar and higher US interest rates.

The bank has also adjusted down projection on China's economy to around 7.1 percent in 2015, and 7 percent in 2016.
