PART 3 - The Lesson
INVITATIONS 邀请
Are you doing anything next Monday?
Are you free on Monday?
What are you doing on Monday?
Have you got anything on on Monday?
I was wondering IF + ...
you'd like to go to the beach on Saturday.
you'd be able to come to dinner on Saturday.
you can come to dinner on Saturday.
you could come to dinner on Saturday.
Would you like to come to dinner?
Can you come to dinner on Saturday?
What about coming to dinner?
How about coming to dinner?
Thanks.或That'd be great.
Would you like to come to dinner?
- Yes, I would!
How about coming to dinner?
- I'd love to come.
What about coming to dinner?
- Yes,O.K. Thanks for inviting us.
I'd love to come/I'd like to come...
BUT I'm afraid I can't.
I'd love to come BUT I'm afraid I can't 或I'd like to come BUT I'm afraid I can't.
I'd love to come BUT ...
I've got something on.
I'm going to a concert.
I don't feel the best.
I'd love to come but I'm not sure if I'll be free.
Can I let you know later?
5. PERSISTING IN THE INVITATION
Please try to come.
Are you sure you can't come?
6. DETAILS OF THE INVITATION
Come about 6.
What time would you like us to come?
Can I bring anything?
I want to invite you TO a party/ my place/ dinner
I want to invite her...
out 出去玩
