Names
GIVEN NAME SURNAME
John Warnock
Barbara Frawley
Brian Harrison
SURNAME GIVEN NAME
Wang Enxi
This is Brian Harrison;this is Judy Warnock. This is Brian;This is Judy.
Mr Lee
Mrs Lee
Miss Lee
Ms Lee

PART 3 .The Lesson
1.ASKING STRANGERS FOR INFORMATION
Excuse me + can you tell me + when/what/how..etc.
EXAMPLES
Excuse me,can you tell me when the next bus is due?
Excuse me,can you tell me which bus goes to the school?
Excuse me,can you tell me what the time is?
2.MAKING SMALL TALK
EXAMPLES
A . Hot (day/morning etc),isn't it?
B . Yes,it is./Yes,it is,isn't it/Yes,isn't it?
A . It was cold (last night/yesterday),wasn't it?
B . Yes it was./Yes,it was,wasn't it?/Yes,wan't it?
3.GETTING TO KNOW A PERSON BETTER
What do you do for a living?
Where do you work?
Do you like your job?
4.BRINGING A CONVERSATION TO AN END
I'd better go/I have to go(now)/It's getting late/I must fly.
