【剧情简介】
影片讲述在未来社会，人类可以随心所欲地操控时间，能够超越死亡，也能改写年龄，不管他们活多久，年龄将会终止于25岁——这就意味着出现在影片中的所有演员都必须是20岁左右的年轻人，25岁的阿曼达年龄正好合适，想必这也是她加盟的原因之一。为了避免所有人都永生所带来的人口膨胀，人们必须用金钱换取时间，类似于银行的时间管理机构遍布全球，而时间管理员会像警察一样追踪记录每个人所使用和剩余的时间，一旦你在时间银行中的存额所剩无几，就将被剥夺生命。阿曼达·塞弗里德在片中饰演的就是一名随时会被剥夺生命的底层女孩，他的男友被统治机构Ghetto诬陷谋杀了一名富人，在所剩无几的时间里，阿曼达和男友一同对抗整个统治机构。最终的结果……自然所有的压迫与不公，都抵不过真爱的力量。
