If you ever watched 'Star Trek' you remember moments like these...Yes, the stuff of science fiction. But wait. Scientists are actually working on a way to do it.
Last year, researchers in Canada actually teleported tiny atoms faster than the speed of light. But can people or objects be moved the same way?...

The answer they say theoretically is yes. But it would take massive amounts of energy to do it. A professor at MIT says it may very well happen. But not in our lifetime. In fact, he says, it would take approximately 1,000 years to develop the technology to do it.
