属格的功能

属格除表示所属关系外，还可以表示其他关系。

表主谓关系，如：

the teacher's request老师的要求

the soldier's enlistment士兵的入伍

the arrival of the train火车的到达

the grows of the industry工业的增长

表动宾关系，如：

the children's education对孩子的教育

the family's support养家糊口

the discussion of the plan对这个计划的讨论

the occupation of the city对这个城市的占领

表修饰关系，如：

a month's salary一个月的薪水

a doctor's degree博士学位
