Babel
【圣经】巴别(巴比伦的示拿的古城，诺亚的子孙拟在此建一座通天塔，上帝怒其狂妄，乃乱其语言，使建塔人突操不同的语言而四散，塔因此终未建成)

据《圣经·创世记》第11章记载，大洪水后，诺亚的三个儿子分散到各地并繁衍生息，分为邦国。因为人类当时有共同语言，并且一起居住在与幼发拉底河相距不远的示拿之地。人们利用河谷的资源，在那里建筑城和塔，以聚集全体的人类及展示力量。上帝降临视察，认为人类过于自信和团结，一旦完成计划将能为所欲为，便决定变乱人们的口音和语言，并使他们分散各地。
