警方发现保罗12年前买的一只玩具箱里有一具女人尸体，对他进行盘问，扎克很快为父亲作掩饰，称他们几年前就把箱子处理掉了。弗莉蒂告诉扎克很久以前在尤他州自己认识他的母亲，那时他还是小孩子，名字叫达娜。卡洛斯与加布丽尔为要不要孩子争论不休，加布丽尔坚决反对。这时律师带着医院的支票到来，卡洛斯得知真相后大为恼火，本来这笔钱可以让他免受牢狱之灾，加布丽尔告诉他，他应该坐牢，因为这样至少他出狱后他们还有钱。他以离婚和停付赡养费为威胁，强逼她签下婚后财产协议，以取代婚前协议。看到加布丽尔身上的累累伤痕，约翰要去找卡洛斯算帐，但她阻止说，吻她才是最好的报复。不知道丈夫在避孕药上动了手脚的加布丽尔怀孕了。丽奈特与布丽为了孩子的事发生不少口角，丽奈特向她道歉时，布丽表示自己才该说对不起。

布丽非常矛盾，不知道自己是否是个好母亲，不想去看安德鲁。雷克斯说服了她，但安德鲁不愿见她，布丽认为他还在恨自己，冲进室内要求他承认自己是个好母亲。雷克斯告诉他，安德鲁要求单独谈话是因为他认为自己可能是同性恋。苏珊的母亲突然出现，很快与迈克熟络起来。迈克告诉苏珊，自己对她的许多问题都找到了答案。
