写作范文
Initially, if children are willing to help others, they could foster a sense of responsibility, which exerts a profound and significant influence on shaping of their perfect character. Owing to the rise of living standard, parents are often tempted to spoil their children so as to meet all their needs. Consequently, they become more self-centered and selfish, never thinking about others. Obviously, it is of great importance for them to be responsible for other people. Assuming that parents always teach kids to do a favor for others in daily life, they will form a habit and be ready to do it. Gradually whatever they encounter, they would take responsibility for it and give others a hand as long as far as possible, which lays a solid foundation for their growth. Moreover, with a sense of responsibility, it is natural for them to make contributions to the society after they grow up. Therefore, there is every reason to believe that helping others is beneficial for children themselves and even the whole society.
In addition, being helpful is conducive to expanding children's circle of friends from all walks of life. This is because if kids tend to offer help, it leaves a favorable impression on others, so it is possible for them to make friends. As a result, these friends will also give a hand in turn, which is a virtuous cycle everyone benefits through. It is widely acknowledged that kids ages five to ten are so young as to need plenty of support from others. Suppose that a child has helped other peers in school, others would like to give some advice in study or supply a help when an emergency occurs in daily life. Besides, with so many friends, children would learn how to communicate with others and master interpersonal skills, which constitutes a stepping stone to their future development. There is sufficient evidence to conclude that friends are very likely to bring more benefits for these kind kids.
It is true that honesty enables kids to win the trust from others. Also, being well-organized contributes to high efficiency. However, being helpful benefits not only kids themselves, but also others and even the whole society. Thus, from what has been discussed above, I draw a conclusion that it is wiser for children to be helpful.
