People in Britain are interested in a wide range of music, including classical music(古典音乐), rock and pop misic, Jazz , folk and Light Mucic. In the early 1960s a new pop culture—beat（披头士）, emerged in Britain’s Liverpool. It was started by a group of young people called Beatles.
