Health authorities have issued a draft regulation that sets standards for public toilets, including limits for odor intensity and the number of flies and maggots. The draft also sets requirements for the design, layout, construction and daily management of public toilets.
New standards on public restrooms指卫生部(The Ministry of Health)近日发布的强制性的“公厕新国标”草案。 征求意见稿还规定,在公共厕所服务区内男女人群数量相当情况下,男女厕位(the number of stalls for men and women)比例宜为1∶2。
另外,还可以用“Men's Room/ Ladies' Room”、“loo”、“john”、“the fourth”以及“the Poets’Corner”等来表示卫生间。
