本期话题：Are people thin or fat in your country?

Hi, my name is Mike and I'm from Canada and this is for elllo.org. The topic today is are people thin or fat in your country? Well, I'm from Canada and I have to say that there are both thin and fat people in my country as I think there are in most countries in this world but being such a close neighbor of the United States, I can't help but compare and the level of obesity in the United States is getting to be quite a problem and I have to say that it is definitely related to diet. At this point in time the fast food culture in the United States is way out of control even to the point where they're making movies about it and it's not like eating fast food is going to kill you but if that is your main diet that you eat every day it is definitely going to contribute to the level of obesity in that country. So I think Canada we're doing pretty good but obviously people could eat healthier.
