down the highway.
Wasn't the sunrise beautiful this morning?I'm hot,says Jenny.
I'm tired,says Brian.I'm hungry!says Danny.
Will we eat soon?Yes,says Mr.Smith.
We're going to have a picnic.I brought sandwiches and fruit
Did you bring donuts?asks Danny.
I'm sorry,but I didn't,says Mr.SmithThat's okay,says Danny.
I brought some in my backpack.
Soon,Mr.Smith stops the car by the side of the road.
Everyone sits down on a blanket in the shade of a tree.
Jenny's father gives them each a ham sandwich and some juice.
Hurry up and eat,says Jenny's father.We have a long way to

drive.
I want to put up out tent before night.
After the sandwiches Danny says,
Now,everyone can have a donut.Please hurry,Dannysays Jenny's

father.
It's almost time to go.Danny opens his backpack.Oh,no!he says.
My backpack is full of little ants!They are eating the donuts!
The ants are on me,too!Jenny says.
And they're on you,Brian.Everyone jumps up.
I think it's time for us to leave now.
Get in the car! Hurry up!
Picnics are okay,but I think I like eating in hotels better.
Can we go to a hotel
