to shop for souvenirs.
A famous place with tourists is Silk Street,
also know as Silk Market.
This is an outdoor market.
It has dozens of stalls
selling many different types of clothes.
Open every day
the market is located in a street
called Xiu Shui off a big avenue
to the east of central Beijing.
In the past,all the traders here
sold silk goods.
Today,many of the stalls
still sell silk clothes,
They also sell other items like bags,shoes,
watches,even video games!
One last thing to remember about Silk Street-
the traders do not set the prices,
so you have to be prepared to bargain!
