2. 词链儿：no sooner...than... 是“一…就…”

前面的“…”部分，是个倒装句（谓语动词常为完成时，have或had放主语之前）；后面的“than …”部分，是个正常词序句（意思是：“前一事的发生，并不比后一事的发生早”，但是主要的新信息是后一事）。

No sooner had I sat down than the phone rang again.

我刚坐下，电话铃又响了。

前一部分的主语，也可以提前到no sooner之前。

He had no sooner given his name than the Frenchman recognized it.

他一说出自己的姓名，那个法国人马上就认出来了。

No sooner said than done.

说干就干/立刻就做。
