2016年，关于老司机的段子开始在网上流传。网友们常常用老司机来表示在某方面经验老道的人。“老司机”的英文应该怎么说？如果你的第一反应是 ”old driver.” 那可能会让老外完全不知你所云。因为，在英语中old 只表示年纪大 / 旧的，通常用来形容过时了的，而老司机也并不一定就很“老”啊！所以如果你因要夸奖某人经验丰富，而使用“old driver”，那你极有可能会遭遇到白眼。

3. old hand “老手；熟练工人；有经验者”

eg： While he is very young, he is an old hand in this field.

虽然他非常年轻，但已经是这个领域里的老手了。

她是对付新闻界的一位老手。

4. expert

expert意为“专家；行家”，用来说“老司机”毫无问题。

eg： He's an expert at people skills.
