1. I wish I had
wish后接宾语从句,表示未完成或不能完成的愿望,引导词that常可省略,从句的谓语动词通常用虚拟语气,可分为以下三种情形。
1) 从句的谓语动词用动词的过去式(be动词多用were),表示与现在事实相反的愿望。如:
I wish I knew what is happening outside space.
但愿我知道太空外正在发生什么事。
2) 从句的谓语动词用"had+过去分词",表示与过去的事实相反的愿望。如:
They wished they hadn't attended the palace ball.他们想，要是他们没有参加那次宫廷舞会就好了。
3) 从句的谓语动词用"would / could / should+动词原形",表示对将来的希望。如:
I wish you would succeed in borrowing some money from the mean man.
但愿你能成功地从那个吝啬的人那里借些钱。
