256. 全家人在九点钟上教堂去做礼拜。
[误] The family go to the church at 9 o\'clock.
[正] The family goes to church at 9 o\'clock.
注：把全家人看做一个整体，即一家人，应该接用单数动词。“去做礼拜”，英语应说 go to church，如果加了冠词说成 go to the church，便不是去做礼拜，而只是去参观礼拜堂的建筑。同样“上学读书”是 go to school，如说 go to the school，便是指校舍而言，与读书无关。
