2014年的雅思考试在12月20日落下了帷幕。为了更好地帮助考生把握考试脉络，了解考试动态，将对全年的考情进行分析整合。希望考生在关注新一年考试的同时也可以回顾以往考试，从中加深理解，深入备考。
雅思小作文考情分析
今年全场48场考试中，柱图和表格题独占鳌头。而对于线图（7次）和饼图（2次）的考查较往年相比有明显下降。混合图全年考核5次。值得一提的是，今年对于非常规图——流程图和地图的考查比往年几率要高，这也是为什么考生普遍反映今年小作文题目较难写。接下来笔者将结合解题技巧对今年的各类图形进行分析整合。

从今年的考情来看饼图的意外大幅减少，给明年初的考试埋下了雷区，考生不可忽视。流程图和地图出题比例虽然再创新高，但出题角度毫无创新，难度只减未增。考生只要按照所授方法认真备考，流程图、地图并不是洪水猛兽。

雅思大作文考情分析——题型
雅思考试大作文延续了以往考试的特点，议论文的考查依然高居榜首，综观全年考试，共有40次考查议论文；其次是说明文，考查次数为5次；考查次数最少的为混合类文体，仅3次。
一、议论文考情分析
（一）整体40次的考试中，单边议论文考查11次，具体题目如下：

要点提示：单边议论文在写作过程中一定要明确对于文章观点的呈现。换句话说，考生在表达的时候必须给出一个确定的答案，切忌含糊其辞，模棱两可。倘若不能给出明确观点，一方面可能使得文章看起来说理不清、过于朦胧；另一方面可能缺乏明确观点而造成写作时的前后矛盾，所以建议考生在平日练习时关注此类题目中观点的展示。

值得注意的是较往年相比，核心话题没有发生大的变化，仍旧以社会（发展）类，教育类以及政府类为主。同时，二级话题——科技，环境以及犯罪类也保持了相对稳定的考查量。而去年考核相对较多的旅游类今年鲜有，另外动物类话题也未作涉及。
建议各位考生在备考阶段以准备核心话题素材为主，并需要密切关注老题新装的可能性。例如今年的社会（发展）类题目中对“换工作”这个话题的考核足有4次之多。虽然每次问法不尽相同，但是回答思路上基本一致。考生可从换工作后能够获得的好处思考，例如工作经验的累积，全新的工作环境所带来的新鲜感和动力等。如遇到此话题的双边题目，需具备批判式思维，例如从需要时间适应公司文化氛围，工资待遇晋升机会的减少，以及频繁地跳槽体现对雇主的忠诚度低下从而导致自己在职场中不受欢迎等等来进行考虑。
