Candidate 1: Ads play an important role in our daily life, and they also indispensable, to our lives because our choices of daily goods and our lifestyles are affected by ads in some way.

Ads bridge the gap between manufactures and consumers. Consumers can gain more information about the products they want by reading ads while enterprises can use flexible ads strategies to attract more market groups. Therefore, it will be beneficial(有益的) to both sides. Furthermore, ads take up a large part of the state revenues(收入,税收) by paying taxes, which exerts(用尽,尽力) an influence on territorial economy. In addition, ads, especially those full of creativity and imagination, can give us artistic enjoyment and make us realize the inner beauty. What's more, the development of ad industry can contribute to creative thinking, which will prompt(促使,激励,激起) quality education more or less.

As every coin has its two sides, advertisements also have disadvantages. Ads may send deceptive information to consumers, and this may pose a potential threat to security, health and property. Worse still, ads may put pressure on people, which makes teenagers pursue material enjoyment aimlessly, resulting in resource waste for our whole society. What's even worse, some ads in bad taste, especially those full of violence and pornography, will do harm to the youth' growth.

It's high time that effective measures were taken to regulate the ads market. We should make ads a useful tool for both our economy and daily life.

Candidate 2: When it comes to advertisements, the word "explosion" comes to my mind. Nowadays, ads could be found here and there at all times. To a certain extent, we could say that this is an advertisement explosion time.

As we all know, every coin has its two sides. Advertisement also appears with both advertages and disadvantages. Now, I would like to say something about the commercials.

In the first place, I believe advertisement could be bridge between consumers and manufactures, and it has been benefiting both consumers and manufacturers(生产商) since it appearsed.

To the consumer, all kinds of advertisements provide an easier way to get access to(进入) useful information while wondering what to buy. On the other hand, advertisement itself is an art. It is also a way of entertainment. We can see many pop stars and enjoy beautiful music in it. To manufactures, advertisement is also a way of investment. An excellent advertisement can not only increase the revenue, but also win great fame for the firm.

However, there are also many disadvantages of advertisement.

Firstly, the number of ads is so great that now ads are regarded as another kind of pollution to the public. The break into(破门而入) the TV program and all kinds of leafets(传单) are also stuck here and there all over the world, which dose do harm to our living environment. Secondly, People will be easily swayed(动摇) by advertisements featuring with beautiful movie stars and make irrational(不理智的) decisions or even buy goods on impluse(冲动). What is worse, ads will violence world affect children, leading to their imitation in daily life.

All in all, I believe, we can not simply say "Yes" or "No" to advertisement. It is a product of this economic society. Both advantages and disadvantages of it have special meanings to our human beings. It is the best choice to try our best to promote its advantages and make it contribute much more to our world.
