5. How do you see youself in ten years' time?
这是一个很有意思的问题，回答也很容易出彩。回答可以涉及诸多方面，比如，十年以后，你的工作是怎样的？有没有开拓出自己的一方天地？你的生活和家庭是怎么样的？当然，在你热情洋溢展望未来的时候，小心将来时态的运用。

Candidate 1: Ten years later, I will become a woman with self-confidence. As a very important psychological(心理上的) character, self-confidence brings my courage to come over(克服) difficulties, and give me direction when I'm back. Because the important thing in life is to have a great aim, and the confidence to attain it, self-confidence will contribute to(做出贡献) my business, to my beauty, as well as to my success.
“十年以后，我会变得越发自信。”这一回答侧重与精神层面，比较新颖。但回答略显单薄。

Candidate 2：Ten years later, I will be thirty. It's really difficult to say what I will be doing at that time. Of course, I'd like to be the CEO(Chief Executive Officer 首席执行官) of a powerful investment bank(投资银行) and live in a big house with a beautiful garden. I'm crazy about cars, so if I am rich enough I will choose Ferrari to be my toy. But to be realistic, I do know after graduation from college, the choices of future career will be limited. I have to prepare for that and maybe my dream will come true(实现) one day.
相对于上一篇侧重于精神层面，这篇应答似乎显得有些物质化。然而，从工作、生活、家庭各个方面分别做出展望，倒是让内容充盈了不少。

6. Have you done any research on the employment situation of your major(field)?
这是一个提醒性的问题，知己知彼，百战不殆。问题表面上问的是“你对本专业或本工作领域的就业形势有没有做过调查研究?" 实际上问的却是"How do you think of the employment situation of your major(field)?"回答时要求大家对本专业或本工作领域的就业形势予以分析和总结。当然也可以由小到大，由浅入深，谈一下国内整个的就业形势(the current job market in China)。

Candidate 1: I am majored in Manthematics. Recently I have concerned with(关注) the employment situation of this major. Suprisingly I found that only 25 percent of the students still work in this major after their graduation. The Mathematics major is said to be one of the five "most difficult to get a job" majors. The problem exists not only in my major, but also other majors in the whole Chinese job market. Though China's economy is increasing at full speed(高速地), the quality of the prospective posts(未来的工作岗位) can't meet the number of the graduates.
Candidate 1首先分析了本专业就业形势的严峻性，继而由小到大，指出就业难并非仅局限于某些专业，而是当代中国社会发展的一个普遍现象。

Candidate 2: My major is Journalism. The current job situation for us is serious. First, the quality of Journalism(新闻专业) majors is saturated(饱和的), and many students are choosing this major. Second, with the development of technology, everyone may become a journalist in some other conditions. For example, a person can take some photos or videos about something with a mobile phone, and at this moment he may be a journalist. Last but not least, graduates of Journalism don't gain enough professional knowledge in university. When comes across a report of certain professional field, they'll meet an obstacle(障碍). Under this serious situation, we Journalism majors must attempt to extend our horizons of thinking(思路，眼界) and be all-around(全面的) persons. Thus, we could face the challenges of the future and be competent of(胜任的) a job in this field.
Candidate 2结合自己的专业学习经历进行阐述，显得生动而又可信。

7. What do you think have been the most important changes in your field/major over the past 5 years?
这个问题的难度较大。要求对所从事的专业领域做出纵向概括性的介绍。

Candidate 1: I work in the Finance field. I think the most important changes over the past five years in the economic field(金融领域) is the economic globalization(经济全球化). With the development of modern communicative(通讯的) tools and open information, the world economy is becoming more and more interrelated. Every country's economy is a part of the world. A finance crisis(金融危机) could spread to(波及) the whole world. For instance, four months ago, Lehman Brother, one of the world famous investment banks, broke down(破产). It affected the economy of the whole world including China.
Candidate 1从事金融行业，指出金融领域今年来也受到了全球化的影响。列举的投资银行破产的例子是时下的热点，给回答增添了时代感。

Candidate 2: My major is Marine Economy(海洋经济), which was set up(建立) four years ago. Students in my major have to study not only economic courses but also marine courses. I think the most important change in my major is the study of the marine courses. At the beginning, students in my major only learn four marine courses, but now we need to learn about eight ones. The increase of the study of marine courses show us the importance of ocean in the future and also directs us the way my major develops.

很明显Candidate 2是一名在校大学生，学习海洋经济专业。他通过分析海洋类课程在总课程比重中的增多，从侧面指出本专业越来越多倾向于对海洋领域的研究。作为一名在校生，回答本分又得体。

8. What are the essential conditions/qulifications of success?
每个人都渴望成功。成功的要素和条件有很多，比如智商、情商、运气、机遇、勤奋、毅力等等。仅仅回答出某个或某些要素是不够的，重点看你如何解释“Why”。

Candidate 1: I think the essential conditions of success should be a definite goal(明确的目标), hard work, persistence and a good chance. First, we'd better make our goals definite, otherwise we would feel like being at a loss(不知所措). Second, we must work hard for the goals because it's well known that success needs 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration(灵感). Third, when we're on the way to the goals, we need persist in them. Persistence, which I believe would be the most difficult, is also an important elements of success. Finally, we should wait for a good chance appearing and catch it tightly. Then success could give us a close embrace(拥抱).
越是逻辑清晰、有条理的回答越容易给考官留下好的印象。成功四要素——目标、勤奋、毅力、机遇。

Candidate 2: Everyone wants to succeed. But what are the essential conditions of success? Firstly, you must have genius. Genius shows that one may have gift in certain field. For example, if a person doesn't have the gift in painting, he can hardly succeed in painting. Secondly, it's curiosity. People must have it so that they can find some strange things and create new thingd. The third one is confidence. Having confidence, you'll believe in yourself so that you have the passion to develop. The last one is determination. When you explore success, you may meet with failure. Don't give up and you will finally succeed.
结构和Candidate 1基本一样。只是我们看到不同的成功要素——天才、好奇心、信心和决心。

9. Do you think there should be an age-limit on job?
工作年龄有上限和下限之分，即最低工作年龄和通常说的正常退休年龄，取决于考生善于阐述哪一方面。

Candidate 1: As far as I am concerned, there should be an age-limit on job. On one hand, there are some bad phenomena in our society. A lot of pupils are forced to work in some factories, which is not legal(合法的). Also, it makes a bad impact(影响) on children's health development. On the other hand, elderly people wouldn't have enough energy to do their job perfectly, so they should retire and be taken care of by the society. Above all, I think there should be an age-limit on job.
“立论——分析——总结”这一典型结构使应答者显得层次分明。On the one hand和On the other hand分别阐述了两类工作年限；Above all再次呼应开头的立论，一气呵成。

Candidate 2: I support that there should be an age-limit on jobs. Because I believe that different people have different abilities, especially people of different ages. For example, can a 13-year-old boy really do some work which should be done by a 30-year-old man such as moving stones or constructing(建造)buildings? Of course not.
Candidate 2巧妙地给出了一个反问式的例子，从而变被动为主动，使回答更为鲜活生动。

Candidate 3: I disagree with the idea that there should be an age-limit on jobs. Age-limit keeps from doing interesting things, and deprives people of(剥夺) their human rights(人权). In my opinion, age is not priority(优先考虑的事情). When you apply for a job, the recruiter(招聘人员) pays close attention to your ability and talent, and age can only be a reference(参考) element. If you like the job and your really need it, you can try and prove yourself, no matter how old you are.
