1.hospitality n.好客，殷勤的款待

【记】词根记忆：hospi( =host，主人)+tal+ity--主人（对客人的）友好款待一好客

【例】Mary received them with her usual hospitality.

2.inform v.通知，告知，使了解;告密，告发

【记】词根记忆：in(使)+form(形成)一形成文字形式通知一通知

【例】The people who thform against the officials of bribery will be awarded some money.

告发政府官员受贿的人将受到奖赏。

【用】inform在表示“通知，告知”的时候，常与of或about搭配使用，而在表示“告发”时，常和agains喊on连用。
