The words "technology" and "technique" are different.
“technology(科技)”和“technique(技术)”这两个词是不一样的。
But they both come from a Greek word meaning the study of an art or craft.
但是它们都来自一个希腊单词，意思是一项艺术或者工艺的研究。
Words starting with tech- and techno-, describe a skill, art or way of doing things.
以tech-和techno-开头的单词描述的是一项技能、艺术或者做事方式。
"Technique" is a way of doing a specific activity.
“Technique”指的是完成一项特殊活动的方法。
For example, if you study the guitar, you can learn techniques for playing different kinds of music.

If you like cooking, you can learn techniques for making foods from around the world. Here is an example:
