Hong Kong police will set up a new unit to support the implementation of the national security legislation in the special administrative region.
The early stages of the unit's establishment are under way, including review resource allocation, manpower and equipment planning.
The unit will be guided by Hong Kong police commissioner Chris Tang Ping-keung.
