Question: How long did it take Robinson to make a chair and a table?

I started to make some furniture. I needed a chair and a table. I used the wood from my rafts and the ship. It took me five days to make a chair and a table. Next, I made shelves inside the cave. I put my tools on the shelves. I put my clothes and guns in the cave too. My guns were on the walls too.

我开始做一些家具。我需要一把椅子和一张桌子。我用船和木筏上的木头。我用了五天时间做了一把椅子和一张桌子。接下来，我在洞穴里做了架子。我把我的工具放在架子上。我把我的衣服和枪也放进洞穴里。我的枪也在墙上。

I was very pleased when my work was finished. Everything was well organized. I could easily find what I needed.

当我的工作完成了，我很高兴。一切都井井有条。我能轻易找到需要的东西。

I decided to write a book about my life on the island. I described my days in the book. I started with my first day on the island. I wrote everything what I remembered.

我决定写一本书，讲讲我在岛上生活。我在书中描述我的日子。我从我在岛上的第一天开始写。我写下一切我记得的事。

I also wrote what I thought. It was good for me when I put my thoughts on paper. I wrote one page every day at the beginning. But when I got to the present, I wrote only one page every week. I wrote only important events.

我还写下我的想法。把想法写下来对我来说很好。一开始我每天写一页。但到了现在，我每星期只写一页。我只写重要的事情。

1. furniture: 家具，不可数，“一件家具”需说a piece of furniture。

2. shelf: 架子，搁板，“书架”即bookshelf。

3. start with: 从……开始，“以……结束”则是end with。
