Which brings us to an important topic: the word "always".

It is an adverb.

Always is an unusual adverb.
“always”是一个不同寻常的副词。
It sticks to a certain kind of schedule - more so than other adverbs.
它遵循某种特定的计划——比其他单词都更加固定。
Most adverbs can move in a sentence.
大多数副词可以出现在句子的不同位置。
They are like people with flexible schedules.

Like "occasionally".
比如“occasionally”。
"Occasionally" appears at the beginning, middle, and end of sentences.
occasionally可以出现在句子的开头、中间和末尾。
Occasionally I eat seafood.
有时候我吃海鲜。
I occasionally eat seafood.
我有时候吃海鲜。
I eat seafood occasionally.
我吃海鲜有时候。
But "always" is less flexible.
但是“always”没那么灵活。
Americans often use "always" in the middle of the sentence.
美国人通常在句子中间使用“always”。
He always arrives early.
他总是早到。
"Always" is far less common at the beginning or end of the sentence, except in commands, when it's at the beginning.
“Always”很少出现在句首或句尾，除非在命令语句中，它位于句首。
Always brush your teeth before bed!
睡觉前一定要刷牙!
Or you might hear or see "always" in poetic kinds of speaking or writing.
或者你可能在诗意的口语或写作中听到或看到“always”。
I will love you always.

But in every day speech, "always" almost always appears in the middle of the sentence.
