冷空气怎么用英语表达？

很多细心的同学可能会发现，在看英文天气预报播报时，播报员说到冷空气要来了，一般都会说：

The cold front is on the way.

冷空气要达到具体的城市或者国家的时候可以说：

There's a cold front coming to China.（有一股冷空气要来中国啦。）

而 cold air， 一般是指 空调等设备发出的 “冷气”，比如我们可以说：keep the cold air from coming through windows. 不要让冷气从窗户跑出去了。

因此，冷空气的正确表达应该是：

cold front

front 是一个气象学的名词，表示 “冷暖气流的交锋”。

举个例子：

A cold front is bringing colder weather and snow，you should put on more clothes tomorrow.

冷锋过境，空气变冷还下雪，明天你得多穿衣服。

注意穿厚点也不是wear thicker clothes

“厚”对应的英文是more clothes

关于穿厚点，还有一个更加地道的表达：

Bundle up 穿暖和些

举个例子：

Bundle up, it's freezing cold outside!

穿多一些，外面很冷！

其他关于降温的表达：
