On the positive side：就是我们常说的要正面积极面对生活，要有正能量。比如：

是的，积极面对生活的人比较容易快乐。

另外，交朋友是Ray生活中首要的选择。
Top/first priority: 优先级最高的事情。比如：

Ray先说了它们的共同点，both are cosmopolitan。
Cosmopolitan: adj. 国际化的
最常见就是和city的搭配。

They have got their own vitality, I think.
Vitality: 可以理解为生机和活力，具体到城市的vitality，是指城市因为人的活动而变得有活力有生机，比如人们会去酒吧、俱乐部，或从事其他社交活动。
形容很有生机和活力，可以说'xxx has great/good vitality'，但不要用strong来搭配vitality.

Slow-paced: 表示生活节奏缓慢。同理，fast-paced，表示生活节奏快。比如：
My hometown is much slower-paced than Beijing.
