Lesson 04 Dialogue Downtime
Ethan: Wow, all these deadlines are really getting to me. I cannot wait to have some quality downtime this weekend.
Jessica: I think that if we could just get some momentum going, these problems would not be as big as they now seem.
Ethan: Well, we are always facing trade-offs. To get more success requires more sacrifice.
Jessica: I'm banking on this new software to create more gains in efficiency.
Ethan: For sure, strides in technology have made certain processes faster, but I also feel more information overload.
Jessica: I think that to handle my fatigue, it is not going require any new technology but really some old-fashioned R&R.
Ethan: You mean, rest and relaxation? That sounds almost impossible to get these days.
Jessica: Too true. It seems each new day just adds to the clutter on my desk, not to speak of the mental clutter I have been feeling these days.
Ethan: Even e-mail seems to be just another barrier in the morning before I get to my real work.
Jessica: I wish that I could start each quarter with a clean slate.
