1. 大家知道，world表示“世界”时，其前通常用定冠词。如：

2. the world 表示“全世界的人”时，意义上是复数，但用作主语时往往被视为整体，其谓语通常用单数。如：

3. a world of 表示“许多”时，其后可接可数或不可数名词。如：
