The Carpenters(卡朋特兄妹)是由美国人Richard和Karen Carpenter兄妹在60年代成立的，乐团一共推出了20余张专辑，几乎每张专辑的推出都登上美国billboard排行榜首位,期间乐团获得多项葛莱美大奖。至今仍有很多歌手翻唱Carpenter的歌曲，他们最有名的作品大概就是那首Yesterday Once More。1983年，Karen由于节食过度引发心脏衰竭离开人世,成为人们深深的遗憾。
