BEIJING - The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) is set to open at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

北京消息，第十九次全国代表大会定于周三上午9:00在北京人民大会堂开幕。

the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China是第十九次全国代表大会；the Great Hall of the People是人民大会堂。
届时，中央人民广播电台（China National Radio）、中央电视台（China Central Television）及中国国际广播电台（China Radio International）将对开幕式（opening ceremony）进行直播（live broadcast）。观众也可通过人民网、新华网等门户网站（web portals）收看直播。
全国各选举单位选举产生的2287名代表（delegate）将出席十九大（attend the congress）。
全国代表大会每五年举行一次（held every five years），选举新一届中央委员会（new leadership），为未来五年的国家发展（national development）规划蓝图（set a blueprint）。
