欧盟对中国的外商直接投资金额从2006年的60亿欧元（93亿美元）大幅下降到去年的18亿美元，与欧盟的投资总量相比微不足道。与此同时，中国在欧盟的投资也大幅度减少，2006年的投资额为22亿欧元，去年则仅仅只有5亿欧元。

Foreign direct investment (FDI) from the EU into China dropped sharply from 6 billion Euros ($ 9.3 billion) in 2006 to 1.8 billion dollars last year. It was quite a small amount if compared with the total foreign investment by the EU. Meanwhile, Chinese investment in the EU also decreased significantly from 2.2 billion Euros in 2006 to merely 0.5 billion Euros last year.
