Do you agree or disagree with the statement?
Playing sports can teach people lessons about life.
To tell the truth, I agree with the statement that sports teach us lessons about life. To some extent, sports teach us to own a positive life attitude, to cooperate with mates and to respect my rivals. As a saying goes: "health is capital for later success." Without a healthy body, we are not able to compete in this competing society. Take my uncle for example, he graduated from Nanjing University many years ago, which is regarded as a famous university. However his poor health situation prevents him from succeeding. If we insist on exercising every day, we will have a normal schedule, which is of benefit for us to live. Keeping a positive life attitude is previous in such crowned society.
On the other hand, sometimes we are more preferred to attend such sport games that need a team to work together. Then, it is a good opportunity for us to learn how to cooperate with our teammates efficiently. During such game, friendship is far more important than winning. When I was in the primary school, I was fond of playing football, which is rare among girls, so I attended the school team. Because of the same interest, I made friends of Jane, who is my best friends since then. I really got lots of happiness in it. During my later life, Jane always helped me whenever I got troubled.
What's more important, sports educate me that I should respect my rivals all the time. The basic spirit of the sports is to strengthen our body. Although the form of sports has been transformed into games, its aim hasn't been changing. Just like in our daily life, the eventual goal is to live happily, during which we will face many rivals in such competing society, but no matter we win or lose, we should respect them. Because of these rivals, we are encouraged to strive for our goals. So, sports actually teach us a good lesson about life. They have many similarities in many aspects. We should keep a positive attitude towards our life and share with our friends. At last, don't forget to thank your rivals.
