相关介绍：1980年出生于比利时的创作型dance/pop歌手kate Ryan，她8岁就能演奏多种乐器，十多岁时就已经是个技艺成熟的表演者。16岁时，被一经理人看中，加入了软摇/流行乐队MELT。在乐队呆了2年后，她决定发展自己的个人事业。她的首只翻唱 Mylene Farmer的"Desenchantee"单曲席卷排行5周冠军并缔造单曲双白金傲人销量而走红全欧。2002年她的首张专辑Different发行后大受好评，在很多国家登上了TOP榜，全球销量25万张，对于张舞曲专辑来说相当不错。2004年发行了第2张专辑Stronger,在舞曲榜上成绩也很不错。 2006年她代表比利时参加了欧洲电视歌曲大赛，原本人们对她期望值很高，认为是第一的人选，但最终被阻挡在半决赛中，爆出了2006欧洲歌曲大赛上最大的冷门。 Free是她的第四张专辑。
