Kobe Bryant will serve as a FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 global ambassador, the FIFA organization announced.In the role, Bryant will help to promote the event, which will take place from Aug. 31-Sept. 15, 2019 in China.
国际篮联宣布：科比-布莱恩特将成为2019年篮球世界杯全球大使。布莱恩特会帮助宣传这一赛事，该赛事将在8月31号至9月15号由中国举办。姚明也将作为全球大使为世界杯服务。
Yao Ming will also serve as a global ambassador for the 2019 World Cup.

As ambassador, Bryant will help promote the World Cup and take part in activities leading up to the event, according to FIBA, which said Bryant is the most followed NBA player on Chinese social media (6.84 million followers).
