Traditional Chinese Medicine is a minor course being promoted in primary schools in Zhejiang Province, and there are no exams given on the subject, said an official with the local education department.

Textbooks for the course were compiled under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the contents have been reviewed by education authorities, the official said, with the aim of promoting traditional culture.
