Olympic badminton champion Lin Dan apologized on Thursday for cheating on his wife, hours after the affair was exposed online.

A user calling himself 'Detective Zhao' posted pictures and gifs he claimed showed the two-time Olympic champion with a woman in October.
微博用户“名侦探赵五儿”在微博上贴出了一系列的照片和动图，声称这些照片是在10月份拍的，照片中的人是两届奥运冠军得主林丹和一名女子。
Other internet users quickly identified her as Zhao Yaqi, a model and actress. The post had more than 200,000 reposts and 40,000 comments on Weibo.
其他网友很快扒出这名女子名叫赵雅琪，是一名模特兼演员。目前这条微博已经被转发超过了20多万次，评论40000多条。

"As a man, I don't defend what I have done. My behavior has hurt my family. Here, I apologize to my family. Sorry," Lin wrote on his Sina Weibo account in the early afternoon.
林丹在下午早些时候在新浪微博上写道：“作为一个男人，我不为自己做更多的辩解。我的行为伤害了我的家人，在这里我向我的家人道歉。对不起。”
Lin's post received nearly 500,000 comments as of Thursday afternoon, some saying "I'm really so disappointed that my idol did such shameful thing” while some said "it doesn't change all the glories he won for the country".
