The Wedding Ceremony
婚礼仪式
The wedding ceremony itself was simple. Bride and groom were led to the family altar,to pay homage to Heaven and Earth,the family ancestors and the Kitchen God. Tea,with two lotus seeds or two red dates in the cup, was offered to the groom's parents. Bride and groom bowed to each other and the marriage ceremony was completed. In some regions both also drank wine from the same goblet,ate sugar molded in the form of a rooster, and shared the wedding dinner.
婚礼仪式本身很简单。新娘和新郎牵着去家庭祭坛，祭奠天地，家族祖先和灶神。在杯中有两个莲子或两个红枣的茶，是给新郎的父母喝的。新娘和新郎夫妻对拜结婚仪式完成。在一些地区，也用这两个高脚杯喝交杯酒，吃糖做成的公鸡，并分享婚礼晚宴。
