It's made from 18 pricey ingredients, including shark fin, abalone, sea cucumber, ginseng and scallops. All of these ingredients are simmered together for hours using premium Shaoxing rice wine as the braize.
其实,“佛跳墙”得名于“坛启荤香飘四邻,佛闻弃禅跳墙来”。相传是一位秀才在闻到这道菜后一时兴起吟的,佛跳墙可谓是福建的一道珍馐,佛跳墙的原料有几十种之多,包括鱼翅、鲍鱼、干贝、海参等一起,加上绍兴酒一块蒸上多个小时。
