2. That is because…

解析：表示这件事情是什么原因造成，翻译为“这是……的缘故。”从语法上说，这是含有表语从句的复合句，连接副词是because。如果后面接名词的话，用because of，即：That is because of+名词、名词性短语。

例句：That is because of a mismatching of the supply of labor and the demand for it.

这是由于劳动力供求分配不当的缘故。
