Babies and young children love to hear people singing to them.
When they are a little older, they like to sing the songs they have heard.
When children go to school, their world of music grows.
In kindergarten, they are taught singing games and dances.
In the middle grades, students learn charming folk songs,
holiday songs and resounding patrioticsongs.
At this age, many children start to take music lessons.

Portable radios playing the latest songs are heard everywhere.
