The office of National Drug Control Policy
recently did a survey in the United States
about drugs and children and teenagers.
The ONDCP interviewed more than 25,000 children
and teenagers from 9 to 17 years old.
The focus of the survey was on the things
that help kids to keep away from drugs.
They called them "anti-drugs".
Children and teenagers said their most
important personal "anti-drugs" were their
families, sports,volunteer activities,
and hobbies such as music and dancing.
Many children also said that their personal
beliefs and life goals help to keep them
away from drugs.

adults, are very helpful in keeping children
away from drugs,"said an expert from the ONDCP.

their children's "antidrugs".
