Morning, I’m AmyLee,glad to see you today!
No pain, no gain.

回复填空答案格式如下:1____2____3____...et.al.

Today I want to discuss_______such as coal, oil, and natural gas. The term "fossil fuel" refers to the_____,______of plants and animals in_______rock. You see, living plants trap energy from the sun by the process of_______, and they store the energy in their chemical compounds. Most of that energy is released when the plant dies and______.However, sometimes organic matter is buried before it decays completely. Inthis way some of the solar energy becomes trapped in rocks, hence the name fossil fuel. Although the amount of organic matter trapped in any one growingseason is small, the accumulated remains from millions of years are_______.Because the accumulation rate is so slow, millions of times slower than therate at which we now dig up this organic matter and burn it for energy, we mustconsider fossil fuels as_______resources. Tomorrow we'll be discussing_______to fossil fuels that can be renewed.

Today I want to discussfossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas.
The term "fossil fuel" refers to the trapped remains of plants and animals in sedimentary rock. You see, living plants trap energy from the sun by the process of photosynthesis, and they store the energy in their chemical compounds. Most of that energy is released when the plant dies and decays. However, sometimes organic matter is buried before it decays completely. In this way some of the solar energy becomes trapped in rocks, hence the name“fossil fuel”.
Although the amount of organic matter trapped in any one growing season issmall, the accumulated remains from millions of years are considerable. Becausethe accumulation rate is so slow, millions of times slower than the rate at which we now dig up this organic matter and burn it for energy, we must consider fossil fuels as nonrenewable resources.

Tomorrow we'll be discussing alternatives to fossil fuels that can be renewed.

Today I want todiscuss fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas.
4、Although the amount oforganic matter trapped in any one growing season is small,这一句上有些同学可能又要出现问题了,因为这一句上有一个小小的复杂结构---过去分词做后置定语。这句话的主要结构是the amount of organic matter is small, 而matter被trap 在any one growing season.
Because theaccumulation rate is so slow, millions of times slower than the rate at whichwe now dig up this organic matter and burn it for energy, we must considerfossil fuels as nonrenewable resources.
